Now it’s fucking disneyland. Still. Don’t feel like I’m going to get stabbed on the subway, so that’s nice.
2002 for your time

I love it. If I could travel back in time, NYC in the 70s would be the first place I would visit. That and L.A. in the 80s.

I remember riding on the subway in the 80s. Those shots aren’t exaggerations or exceptionally bad ones. It really was like that. You just didn’t go underground at night at all, and even in the day, you wouldn’t want to ride through some areas.

I almost posted him beating The Man at the end, but decided it was too offensive. NYC blaxpoitation is best blaxpoitation.

Absolutely. Nothing says grit like 70's-80's NYC.

I am weirdly fascinated by the 70s grimey, non-gentryfied and real New York and idk why. I’d also love to travel back in time to seperated Berlin of the 80s.

Yeah same I love riding through the ghetto tbh, plus I’m actually from NYC. Logically that’s such a terrible idea though.

Only place that comes close is Detroit(in real life). As always, blaxpoitation FTW!
